Establishing a successful mine requires careful planning, a thorough understanding of the mining area, and strict adherence to technical and safety standards. The first stage of this process involves preliminary studies and the identification of mineral reserves using exploration methods such as geophysical and geochemical surveys and surface sampling. After confirming the existence of an economically viable deposit, a detailed exploration plan is prepared, and deep drilling is carried out to determine the volume, grade, and geological conditions of the ore body. In the next stage, feasibility studies (FS) are conducted to define the required investment, extraction costs, appropriate mining methods, and the rate of return on investment.
After obtaining the necessary permits from the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, as well as environmental and natural resources authorities, mine preparation operations begin. This stage includes road construction, development of infrastructure facilities, procurement of machinery, and establishment of safety infrastructure such as ventilation systems, power networks, and communication facilities. Subsequently, extraction operations commence in accordance with the approved plan, and the mined materials are transported to processing plants or points of use. Proper waste management, compliance with safety principles, and the employment of skilled personnel play a crucial role in increasing mine productivity.
